This set was R399.99 at Eastgate. Only one shop in SA carries the Superhero range. For some reason the mainline toy store do not want to carry this range as it would not sell...go figure!

R400 is a bit much, under R300 & i would have thought about it! Damn, LEGO has gotten expensive!!

If you take the same size set (Wolverine set) in the original Lego City or Space sets, the same size set will be around R250-00. Since this is not a Lego exclusive you will pay more.

Wait till you see the prices of the Star Wars Lego. The smallest standard Lego set is R70-00. The same Star Wars sets starts at R200-00.

Lego is also releasing Marvel and DC mini men sets. A single Lego figure in a sealed pack (you do not know what you getting). These sets will be around R30-00.

Built them as soon as i got home with them that was the only pic i had available when i saw this thread this morning. I'll post open and built pics tomorrow.

I really hope they continue this line with some other characters from the Lego Batman 2 game

This is the second series of DC superhero stuff. The released a few sets with the first game. I still got the Bat mobile and Jokers Ice cream truck and the Bat plane.

Notice Mega Blocks got the rights to the new Spiderman movie and the sets are not bad at all.

I got the Batmobile and Two-Face Escape from that series then it was canned and disappeared like they never existed.

This is a whole new series since they have all been re-imagined and the new game matches them, and the new name, DC Superheroes, that's why i hope they do the other characters and the Justice League

Yes, I still enjoy my Lego, regardless if its normal sets, Star Wars or Superheroes.
Like to build my own stuff and to go BIG, once build a spaceship that had a crew of 50 that was the full size of our garden table. Took me about 4 months to build.
Yes, we go a lot of Lego, about 5 of the large black containers full and a large HTH bucket full.
Did you know Lego re-cycle their products every 7 to 10 years?
Also import custom weapons from specialist producers like BricKArms, we got Lego paintball guns and modern assault weapons.

Just came from Makro. They got a HUGE sale on all Lego. Some stuff up to 50% off. Some Star Wars stuff really cheap.
