Marvel’s Wolverine Limited Edition PS5 Console and Controllers Revealed
Ahead of the launch of Marvel’s Wolverine from Insomniac Games, PlayStation recently announced a themed limited edition PS5 digital console, controllers and console covers to celebrate its release. The set will launch alongside the game this September, with prices varying depending on the item.
The PS5 Digital Edition Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle will come with a yellow PS5 digital console featuring a striking black Wolverine design along with a matching DualSense controller with claw marks. Unfortunately, the bundle will only be sold with a Digital Edition console as there are no plans to release PS5 Disc Edition or PS5 Pro bundles (Sony not so subtly nudging players towards its all-digital future, we reckon).
Players will already own a PS5 Slim or PS5 Pro can purchase the console covers separately. The yellow DualSense controller will also be available as a standalone purchase. Meanwhile, the PS5 Pro-exclusive metallic ‘Adamantium’ version of the console cover and metallic DualSense controller will also be sold separately.
Pre-orders for the limited edition products will start on 19 August and will be available on 15 September at the following prices:

- DualSense Wireless Controller – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow – $84.99 / £74.99 / €84.99

- PS5 Console Covers – Battle Yellow – $74.99 / £64.99 / €74.99
- PS5 Pro Console Covers – Battle Yellow – $74.99 / £64.99 / €74.99
- PS5 Pro Console Covers – Marvel’s Wolverine Adamantium – $74.99 / £64.99 / €74.99
We have yet to receive local South African pricing but we’ll update you as soon as we get more information.
The official description of Marvel’s Wolverine reads:
“Logan thought he was finished being Wolverine, but the past wasn’t finished with him yet. Three years after walking out on his team, Wolverine rejoins the mutant task force, Team X, in their darkest hour. Driven by his fanatical belief in human superiority, Bolivar Trask is kidnapping mutants. Only Wolverine has what it takes to save them. In his fight for the future, Wolverine must team up with fellow mutants across the globe through locations like Canada, Japan, and the Marvel island nation of Madripoor.”
